    Hi

My name is Fi and I am now 39 years old

    My ideal weight is 104lbs

Before the birth of my first child I was under weight at 100lbs, shortly after this result I realized I was pregnant and the weight piled on quickly, at the time it never bothered me because I was pregnant but after giving birth to a 10lb 11oz baby boy I weighed in at 165lbs, I was over weight. Still very active then I was able to shed the pounds slowly but got down to 120 - 130lbs after 2years, not my ideal weight but a safe and healthy weight for me. Then the 2nd pregnancy happened and Ive been stuck in the danger zone since. After my 2nd child who weighed 8lbs at birth, I weighed in at 200lbs that was 8 years ago, Ive since added to that and now weigh in at 300+lbs. Where to start?

    Key Master

Start with each day. Just get through that day.

Its a good thing to know the pregnancy had really nothing to do with the weight gain (much as we all want it to be the cause), but that as you got older your metabolism slowed a little and you are eating too many calories.
Teenagers and even early 20s can eat and never gain weight, its not until their metabolism slows down into a normal mode at 20ish that we start to gain weight. Some people even later at 25 or so. Unfortunately all the bad habits of eating huge meals or bad foods are well established, and to be fair, everyone wants to be able to just eat anything and not gain weight!

For now, i would sign up at a calorie logging site like fitday.com or myfitnesspal.com and if you have a smart phone grab one of the apps to track what you eat. You will probably find once you know how many calories you are eating in a day exactly where you can trim it down. Once you have the diet sorted you can look into exercise.

    Good luck!
