Hello. I really can't put this into a nice flowy paragraph and have backspaced out like 4 paragraphs so I'll put it in bullet points:

. 18, male, first year science student
    . adore Music
. always been chubby and tormented by peers
. had glandular fever last year - got better and my liver is stuffed because of it.
. ALT (one of the liver function test) is 3 times what it should be due to fatty infiltration and glandular fever
. can't drink etc (although clearly an integral part of uni culture)
    . weight almost 150kgs (i am 192 cms tall)
. I've tried on my own many times, but if i diet i don't exercise and if i work out a lot and do cardio work i eat more. i can't find the in between.

Frankly, I'm sick of the way i am, and this morning i was given the great news of my monthly liver test which stated i am in a lot of trouble if i don't fix my liver. Inspirations: My girlfriend (i really would love to live up to her dreams of having a bit of muscle and abbs), self confidence boost, general well being, My liver, being able to fit all the awesome band t-shirts i want to buy / own.
I am not short of inspiration, i just give up very easily and don't deal well with set backs. Being busy at uni has also impeded my ability to find time to exercise as well as eat properly. I stumbled across this site while doing a bit of reading (when i'm scared about something i read about it >.<') I'm trying to use my holidays to kick start weight loss because i have the time and less worries and stresses than when i have uni.

I've found this stuff very interesting and inspiring, and its in a very non B.S format and is very informative. I hope to find some more inspiration, some tips about sticking to it as well as strategies to lose the weight.

Good on you for taking a stand! This is a great site and I find it great to just be able to log on when I need a bit of support/inspitation/motivation. Good luck
