Busy week this week and I just stopped making an effort. Yesterday I forgot all limits and ate whatever I felt like. Amazingly enough that translated into far too much rather than far too much chocolate , ice cream etc; and I did not go as far overboard as I have in the past. To day I have got out of bed not in the least concerned about it. Not feeling depressed ....amazing! Just firm in my desire to start again today . Maybe I won't beat myself up any more.... now that would be a really good idea probably help me to stop the emotional overeating!

Anyone who has been to the states will know why the Americans (30% of the population) are obese ....the size of their $5 meals!!!!!!

Hey Touce, feel's like it's been a while!! Well, update, i'm moving back to Hamilton! lol, i've been accepted into university there and have been offered a job which offers extremely flexible hours. Found out at the end of last week, moving this weekend! woah! Can't say my eating has been on track, i just read the last posts.. were they copy and pasted from another post? i find it hard post babies, just to shift the weight. But i would love to see my smaller more organized post kids body. I love curves, super sexy...!! and i have hips, which i totally adore. Would just like to put them into a more organized body lol... i'm excited to see what i look like post babies under my layers!! haha.... it's so cold here now. Hamilton is way colder than tga.. I too emotional eat! I'm not sure why, I just eat, it's crazy, i know i'm full and i just keep chugging it down. it seems so dumb lol, it's logical to just not eat so much, yet it's such a battle of the mind to nip it in the bum. Hope you're good. it's been a pretty full on past little while. How have you been? oh yeah, when i said last time that i would now document all my eating... yeah, never started!! Shocking. I seem to have every excuse under the sun, but i'm only screwing myself over!! It's so dumb. How's the knee liz?? Found out any more on that? How are you doing with your weight loss and shifting that 20 you put on??

WOW! Well done Cherry. Big Move.New Life. Exciting - have fun! I hope you have friends/family there to help you out a bit in getting settled. Big changes always mean a bit of extra stress - don't add stressing over food to the list! You'll probably be too busy to eat too much - or write it down! I've been slack and not done it for a few days - though did today and saw I had crept back up to eating too much again- quite easy to do really. I think I NEED to stick to writing it down

The quote bits in my posts were from your posts (and maybe liz's) . Thought it easier to reply that way so you knew what I was talking about - lazy way, but easy. All's well here - good luck with your move :D

Hi everyone, I'm Cynthe (Or Renee). I live in Hamilton too! Seven weeks ago I was 168CM tall and 119KG, so very overweight! I was starting to really feel lethargic, almost like a sloth! I've been working hard using hypnosis on my ipod, eating really well and exercising. I'm now 108KG, so it's coming down quite fast.

I have two young boys, who keep me very busy! Would love to chat to you guys if you're happy to have me!

Oh and I'm 27 too! I was 100KG pre-pregnancy both times, and before that managed to get down to around 90KG, and boy did I feel slim then! But 90KG still isn't all that slim when I think about it. I gained 20KG both times and I lost it quite quickly after my first child who is now four, and I've only just really started to make an effort after my second son who is now 18 months old.

Hey touce, yeah another move!! I only just moved to tga like six months ago lol, but i am really excited about getting back to hams and into the life there. Can't wait for uni!! I'm a people person so i'm stoked to be around people haha... Heya Renee, great to hear your on such a good roll with loosing weight. Aaah, pre pregnancy weight, oh how 'slim' i was and thought i was fat lol... i found it way too easy to put on weight with being pregnant, and i was so tired i just got lazy. hey, would love to catch up with you when i get to hamilton. Be nice to have someone in the flesh for a chat and banter about things. Makes it a bit easier for someone who actually understands what you're going through. I take it you've read all the previous posts, so you know our situations lol, welcome to the 'just started' bloggy thing haha... I'm living in Hillcrest, are you close by?

Hey Cherry, yep I read all the posts beforehand this afternoon, I think our kids are around the same age! I was a solo mum with my oldest child for a short period of time before meeting my new partner and I found that I actually lost weight. I think that was because my son was a baby so didn't eat the meals that I did and I could concentrate a lot more on what I was eating. Once I was making meals for both of my kids in the evenings I would serve myself some of whatever they were eating, eat their leftovers and then when my partner got home later in the evening I would have another dinner! And then after dinner I would snack on chips, crackers, biscuits etc. Being pregnant I was tired too and got quite lazy. I think for ages all I could eat without being sick was hot chips with heaps of salt! And my second pregnancy I craved curry all the time. Thanks for the welcome! It's nice to chat to other people in my situation. I'm in Fairfield, so sort of close.

Well done! I am up and down ....eating better, but not little enough, doing some exercise, but still not enough to make a difference....still seem to be able to find excuses, think I am doing OK when really I need to do better to lose the weight! Inspire me with your weight loss....

    HI there
I am another newbie and have really enjoyed reading your posts. Feel like this is a good place to be. I live in Hastings and am sick of being overweight. I have also joined a community weightloss group, possibly run by the same people you are with Cherry, who are trying to get you to buy their "oh so good" products. I was hoping for a bit more support from them as was promised weekly followup phone calls etc, been going 4 weeks now and still waiting for a phone call, lol.

My biggest problem is I get bored so pick and snack on rubbish. I also am very unmotivated and am not enjoying exercise much at the mo. I just had a baby in January and have found it hard to shift the baby weight etc. I did go to a Zumba class the a few weeks ago and loved it BUT tore a ligament in my knee so haven't been back. Found out from the Physio that while you are breastfeeding the relaxin type hormones make your joints and ligaments looser and more prone to injury, great. SO still trying to get my knee sorted and find some sort of exercise that I enjoy, not keen to go back to Zumba yet. Bubs is starting to wean now so hopefully hormones will sort them selves out sooner rather than later.

I am all inspired now after reading your posts so will find a notebook and start a food journal for calories. Hopefully can stick with it for more than a few days to start a habit.

Good luck with your move Cherry, I used to live in Hamilton when I was a Uni, great place tho cold in the Winter.

LIZ!! Woot Woot!! Good lady, go you good thing go!! How's the knee? Any further progress? Where are you based Liz? Feels like i have not been here for ages! Things have been crazy, work, uni, kids, and extras... I have not been watching my food at all, have lost 1kg lol, but i'm just so busy, it's not healthy, i'm just forgetting to eat, then i get to night time and think, huh, i got the kids dinner and forgot about myself. Things will settle down soon and i can get back into some sort of order. I'm am extremely challenged at the moment. i love the feeling, but i just need to get my house unpacked properly, it's a totaly sty! Touce!! How are you feeling? How is the control over the sleep and being a mummy, working all that going? No more excuses right?? Remeber we have a weigh in when you get back to nz.!
Ok, to the new newbie Becs... Welcome!!! Don't let that injury be your excuse Perhaps water resistance training might be better for you. I have a lot of family in Hawkes Bay, miss the gorgey weather there!! I love the cold weather, and uni is all new and exciting but i'm completely lost and the tests and module hands ins are coming around quickly!! Good luck with your food diary entries... Don't be too hard on yourself, i forgot how much breastfeeding makes your sooo thirsty and hungry! Also, maybe pilates, just a gentle low intensity pilates session might help, aswell as the post baby exercises they give you after you've given birth. Wouldn't think you should go too hard out, it is only like 6-7 months into it. Funny how our bodies are so much different after children. Have to say, i don't really want to shrink my big arse, i love my curves!! haha... HAve a great week everyone!! Look forward to hearing how you are all going.

Hi there, Well I just got started tody. I am 95kg and my first goal is to reach 85 - for my height (172) and build that, for me, is slim! I used to be 82. My ultimate goal 80kg. I find the older I get, the harder it is to lose weight. I find it hard to walk fast now because I have painful bony spurs in ankle & I can't swim so zumba is the way! I have alway loved dancing. Good luck all.

Hi people, It's been a while since we've all had a wee little chat. Touce i hope you're ok. It occured to me the other day in the shower that you may have been affected by the tsunami but im not entirely sure. If you're out there somewhere, prayers and blessings for you and your daughter! If you have been here and you're ok, would love for you to leave us a little note. Liz how's that knee of yours now and your weight loss going? Cynthe, what's happening with you? How's your weight loss going? We should have a catch up when you get some time. I'm at uni a couple of times during the week and i've left my job to focus on my kids and degree. I was definately feeling the pressure! Becs, i hope you guys weren't too affected by the flooding etc happening down there! I love Hawkes Bay,usually gorgey weather! How is your weight loss going also? Welcome to Coconutbunz haha, love the username! So it's two weeks since your last post... What's the two week verdict? As for me, i have gained 6kg since being back in hamilton. I'm not impressed with myself at all. I have been paying attention to the fact that i completely emotional eat. I can name all the excuses under the sun, but i'll spare us all from that! So, here i go again! Starting from scratch. Everything is very close to my house as far as amenities are concerned, so my aim is to park the car up and walk this booty till it perks! Keep posting guys, it really is motivating. Good luck to you all, and Touce... touch base.
