    Hiya
I'm a newbie on this site, but sadly not a newbie to weight loss!
I lost 23kg several years ago before having children, but have put that back on over the years. WW works, but as you've noted in one of the pages on this site, it is basically calorie counting and just the additional support. I know I need that, so thought this time I'd give it a go on my own, but use this forum as a 'support'. Thanks so much for making this wonderful resource available, and free to use.
I would like to commit to losing about 20kg, but rather than just a number, I look forward to feeling fitter and going down a few dress sizes.
I have hypothyroidism, which can make budging weight tricky, so like your ideas about boosting metabolism by eating frequently. I've done it before, so know I can do it again... roll on (or off) 2011!
    Thx

    Heya!

Agreed on the WW being counting. but just with 'support'. i'm not a huge fan of WW foods because they load up foods with sugars and take out fats, but the foods end up with the same amount of calories as the real deal but taste aweful (to me anyway!)

Im knocking off the extra few kg atm i put on over the last year

Well I tried the soup diet from your site. Delicious soup actually and didn't get sick of it. Had a couple of booked dinner engagements in there, so decided if I stuck to the soup diet the rest of the time and ate sensibly at dinner then I would be OK. Lost 2.9kg over 8 days which I was very pleased with. My family were away on holiday when I did it, which made it easier to stick with. But persuing it this week as much as possible and trying to remember the water. Found I was actually quite thirsty on the soup diet which was great as i kept drinking water! Good start... now to keep going!

Excellent. I did make up another one that was more satisfying if that one gets old, its a little better in the long term, and a lot easier and nicer to stick with, but you could easily combine the 2 diets
